Well first day of the blog, all is quiet on the Eastern front. I have some work to upload but I will wait until the morn to do that.
I have been thinking and I should try to add more colour to my work and I want to set myself a goal. I want to sketch in pen, WHY you say.
Well I tend to play it safe with pencil and then I ink over it. I think I should just blast my work out in pen to get a solid and clear look.
Anyway William son of Clint is Out
PEACE
Ps I can't spell to well :)

Digital patterns man
Creating patterns in illustrator. I wanted to create a set of patterns that I could manipulate and create larger ARTS made out of patterns.
I really enjoyed making these patterns and picking the right colour. There's a real 80s feel to these designs.
Aztec pattern. This isn't 100% aligned but it looks wicked cool bro
Aztec space ship
Pattern dome
I wanted to mix my growth pattern and my texture together to create my own take on this piece of art
Pretty cool huh
This is a photography manual i put together
So I put this manual together a while ago. I t was created in InDesign and I then just converted the panels to Jpegs to upload here. I wanted to use the photography I had taken to explain and pass on info.
To be far I don't think it 100% gelled together
This is the opening page, im lucky that this was only for digital consumption as I don't think the number of pages would work if printed.
Trying to balance the picture and the layout was tuff in the first couple of panels.
I wanted to have at least a small amount of info on the canon camera before I started to explain key photography skills.
Again trying to fill the pages with the right amount of text and image
As you can tell I based a lot of these images around textures and focus shots. I love capturing textures and seeing the growth and almost micro environment.
Some rusted and aged steel that had started to almost look organic.
Chipped and burnt wood, I like the simply yet complex nature of this picture.
This shot shows a close up of the charred wood
Another very organic looking rusted piece of steel.
This wood almost looks like it was cast from plastic, looks great.
The end was always going to be difficult as I still wasn't 100% on the audience for the book.
Well hope you enjoy and please comment.
Some more digital love
I created some double exposure images by mixing the pictures and layer together. If done right you can get some great Pictures.
Enjoy and please comment

Creating monsters
I wanted to create some monster using plasticine "hope I spelt that right" when you draw monsters you some times forget your trying to create a 3D item/monsters. I wanted some old school fun lol
Enjoy
Growth ?
Growth pattern art work. I ended up putting it on a background I created on illustrator. I like this kind of style its urban yet still has a touch of illustration.
ARTS
So what i'm doing is drawing this and then scanning it in and then live tracing in illustrator.
